Awarded first place in the university category at the SLIoT Challenge 2023, organized by the University of Moratuwa in collaboration with industry partners including SLT-MOBITEL. The award was received for Hydrolink, an IoT-based smart water tank management system that transforms conventional water tanks into intelligent, connected systems without requiring structural modifications.
The project integrated embedded hardware, cloud services, mobile applications, and predictive analytics to enable real-time monitoring, automated control, overflow prevention, and intelligent water usage analysis. The solution was recognized for its innovation, scalability, and practical impact in addressing sustainable domestic water management challenges.
